Your quotation shall include:

- Delivery Schedule
- Loading at the source.
- Transportation from the source to Ruwais Port.
- Transfer/shipping from Ruwais Port to Ras Laffan Port.
- Offloading at the project site.
- Pricing on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis to the project site at Ras Laffan, inclusive of all transportation, handling, and logistics associated with delivery.

Technical Specifications

1, Quarry Run Rock (Core Material)

- Rock Size: 1–500 kg
- Source: Local Quarry



The supplied material shall be sound, durable, fresh rock free from:

- Clay
- Weathered material
- Organic matter
- Weak seams
- Laminations
- Other deleterious materials

2, Structural Fill

- Source: Local Supply
- California Bearing Ratio (CBR)

The soaked CBR value of specimens compacted:
At Optimum Moisture Content (OMC)
To 100 Maximum Dry Density (MDD)
shall be:

Greater than 30
At both 2.5 mm and 5 mm penetration
On both top and bottom surfaces of the specimen.

- Plasticity
Material passing the 425-micron BS sieve shall be Non-Plastic (NP).

- The material shall comply with the following grading:



3, Armour Rock

- Rock Size: 60–300 kg
- Rock Type: Imported Gabbro
- Shape Requirements
Heavy Gradings
Maximum 50 of stones with l/d > 2
Maximum 5 of stones with l/d > 3
Light/Coarse Gradings
Maximum 50 of stones with l/d > 2
Maximum 20 of stones with l/d > 3
